This monster tarantula was squashed by a small child.  Then the child picked up the spider, put its insides back inside and taped it together.  Amazing enough the spider survived.

This one year old cub got himself into a real pinch.  He burned his paws in a Montana forest fire.  And now after six months is going to be released, to spend the rest of the winter in a protected den.

This story really fits the saying: "Nothing can come between a mother and her child (puppies)."  In this story, an animal abuser burried 9 puppies.   The mother of these poor puppies managed to dig them up, saving all but 3.   (The man in this story was sent to jail for only 3 months, and is now never allowed to own animals again)

Congradulations!!!  On April 25th, 2000she gave birth to a male chimp.

This animal is a crossbreed between a camel and a lama.  It will turn two later this year.

This gargantuan monster, is a cross between a Tiger and a Lion.  They way upwords of 600 lbs. and eat about 1/6 that each day.  They are officially called Ligers/Tigons.  There are very few of them around the world, and despite thier enormosity, they can sneak around as any other animal.
